Simon Parkes is a British mystic who aligns himself with a variety of conspiracy theories. His bio, on his website, begins establishing his family as connected to British and American intelligence. He also stated an interest in UFOs from a young age based on his mother’s “research” with UFOs. He claims she died mysteriously after asking to be relinquished from her work, when he told this story first in 2010 he claims the media harassed him for years. He currently has around 600,000 followers on YouTube and around 183,000 on BitChute. He advertises services like “Soul Reading,” “Deprogramming” and removing “Demonic Possessions.” Much of his blogs are short blind item-type posts, claiming to reveal new developments with little information. He also runs a vague, online scam or MLM-style program called “Connecting Consciousness.
A little digging on his page reveals he has supported a variety of QAnon conspiracy theories including Q Phones, the general belief that Trump is a God emperor destined to save the globe, the great reset, and a whole host of other debunked claims. Parkes is part of a growing number of mystics, prophets, and other new age gurus promoting QAnon.
