To get a login, please join our Discord server at discord.me/echoplex and then use the Discord option for logging in to this wiki. After doing so, please DM Plex-Dave or The Media Wench regarding being added to the wiki channel in the Discord and getting edit access for this wiki.
If you want contribute content on the wiki, awesome! Before you start though, we all know that standards rule the world, so if you have been given access to update the wiki, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the guidelines below.
It may seem like there's a lot of “rules” and it can be a bit overwhelming following/understanding them all, just do your best and let the community know if you need some help!
Every wiki page should have an Overview section marked as a Header 1 that contains a description of the topic.
If there are links to be included, add them at the bottom as a bulleted list under a Would You Like to Know More? section marked as a Header 1.
If there are things you know can be improved upon but you don't have the time/don't know what to write, add a bulleted list under a Page Improvements section at the very bottom.
All sections except for the ones mentioned above should be sub-sections of Overview.
When you're creating a new page, select either the Visual Editor (recommended) or Markdown Editor (if you know what you're doing). Not to worry though, should you accidentally select the wrong type, it's possible to convert a page at a later time.
The wiki page layout is a folder structure. To keep the structure tidy, make sure the page path names are all lower case letters and separated by hyphens (-), rather than spaces. Some examples are:
/en/cast-characters/blaine-bartel
/en/fire-by-nite
/en/nowspace
Any reference to the NOWSPACEmust be written in all upper case letters.
We encourage adding images to your wiki page. However, before you search the Internet highway after something fitting, always start out by browsing the NOWSPACE Screenshot Archive and reference it accordingly (see example below).
